About health coaching

What is Health Coaching?

 A Health Coach is a supporter who helps you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be in your health journey. While a doctor tells you what to do, a Health Coach works with you to figure out how to do it in a way that fits your real life. I will listen to your needs, ask questions, and hold space for you while you navigate your health journey with me right by your side.  

What I do: 

  • Partner with you in YOUR Change: I will help you set realistic goals and provide the accountability needed to reach them.
  • Habit Creation: Together, we focus on sustainable lifestyle shifts—like better sleep, stress management, and nutrition—rather than "quick fixes."
  • A Guide to "Bio-individuality": There is no one-size-fits-all diet. Together, you find what works for your unique body.
  • An Empoweree: I will help give you the tools and confidence to take charge of your own health journey.

What I do NOT do:

  • Play Doctor or Therapist: I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe medication for physical or mental illnesses.
  • Play "Drill Sergeant": I don't use shame or force; we use encouragement and curiosity.
  • Become a Source of One-Way Advice:  Coaching is a collaborative conversation.
  • Become a Replacement for Medical Care: We work alongside your healthcare team to help you implement their recommendations.

The Bottom Line: If you know what you should be doing but can't seem to make it stick, a Health Coach is the missing link to help you finally succeed.

Begin by digging deep into your health history, current challenges, and long-term vision.

  • Comprehensive Assessment: Discuss your unique experience with perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause.
  • Goal Mapping: Identify your "Big Rocks"—the most important health milestones you want to reach.
  • Your Custom Roadmap: Establish the initial actionable steps tailored specifically to your lifestyle and bio-individuality.

2. The Momentum: Continual Coaching Sessions

Regular check-ins are where the real transformation happens.

  • Ongoing Support: Consistent meetings to review your progress and troubleshoot any hurdles.
  • Skill Building: Refine your action steps and discuss your wins and needs.
  • Dynamic Adjustments: As you evolve, your plan evolves. Pivot your strategies based on how you are feeling and the results you've accomplished.

3. The Legacy: Final Transition Session

As you complete your formal program, together, we ensure you have the confidence to maintain your results independently.
